COMMENTARY
An unpleasant dub from two previously released GET BACK LPs. Although all the "Get Back Acetate" tracks reproduced on this LP were originally available in stereo, the producers used for many of them the poorly sounding mono WCF version of GET BACK TO TORONTO.
RELEASES
The majority of the records came on a printed black sleeve with white titles, black labels with company name and track listings (photo below the title). The number on the disc label was written CMBR 12 A/B instead of CBMR 12 A/B as in the matrix on the disc (probably the matrix number was miswritten if CM means Christmas Message). Another pressing had the label in a different font (reproduced here).
A rare version had the title rubber stamped on the front cover and the manufacturer stamped on the back cover, with "Stereo" miswritten "Sterio". Another version had the same rubber stamp printed on a sleeve with the drawing of a nude girl on a tree in pink color. This last drawing was also used by I.C. Records for records by other artists, with a different rubber-printed title. Both of these versions with rubber-stamped title are very rare. The disc had the second label, illustrated here above.
INTEREST. Musically worthless, this record has a very high collectible interest. The copies with the rubber-stamped sleeve are quite rare to find, and were mainly distributed in Japan. Even the usual record is quite rare (***/*****).
